| Carolyn Garton has been with Baldwin
Real Estate Services since September of 1974. Her
real estate career began as a licensed sales agent
working along side her husband, John, who joined
Baldwin the previous year. Carolyn continues to
keep her license active.
Over her years with Baldwin she has assisted
the administrative department in addition to sales.
In January 1981 Baldwin began developing the property
management division for community associations.
Carolyn assisted the then manager in organizing
the division and with correspondence. In June
of 1981 she replaced the manager and has continued
to serve as director of the department overseeing
some 2000 units and 100 associations.
Carolyn was recently recognized by the California
Association of Community Managers (CACM) at their
annual Expo in Anaheim. She joined CACM in 1993,
served on the Board of Directors for six years
and remains active. She is being honored for her
participation and for 10 years as a Certified
Community Association Manager in good standing.
CACM is dedicated to promoting manager professionalism
and knowledge within the community association
management industry in the California. Carolyn
has also been a member of the nationwide trade
organization, Community Association Institute
(CAI) since 1989. CAI’s membership is open to
homeowners of an association as well as to managers.
Carolyn is a Native Californian having grown
up in the San Gabriel Valley. She attended Arcadia
schools and is a past president of the Arcadia
High School Alumni Association. She and her husband
have chaired their past high school reunions since
graduating. Carolyn also is involved in the Church
of the Good Shepherd in Arcadia serving on several
committees and chairing the Membership Committee.
She and John have 2 daughters and are the grandparents
of a grandson and two granddaughters. |
